Plyometric Boxes
Gaining popularity in the late 1960s thanks to Russian track and field athletes, plyometrics originally developed itself aroung box jumping. The most common plyometric exercise is depth jumps, which involves jumping from a raised box or platform. Buying plyometric boxes can be costly and often a waste of money. Most gyms however do have some form of plyometric box, but if you find you can not get your hands on one, there are a few alternatives. Stairs, chairs and small benches can be grate for plyometric activity, given that they are at the correct height. You also look into making your own box out of either wood or milk crates. As long as it is sturdy and built at the correct height for your abilities you should have no problems.
