Originally invented by the russians, plyometrics are a must for anyone wanting to increase vertical leap. On your uphill battle towards a 40″ vertical leap, you will undertake plyometric exercises such as box jumps. But does this mean everyone not doing plyometrics should straight away add them to their routines. Of course not! If your not lacking reactive power, your main focus won’t be plyometrics but strength training. In order to continually gain, you must target your training efforts on improving your weakest aspect of your jump.

This is where vertical bible and vertical project really stand above the rest, as they, to a certain extent, customize themselves to the individuals needs.

Remember though, if your not lacking reactive power at this moment, you most likely will need to focus on it later down the track. Because plyometric training is such a vital aspect for people wanting to jump higher, I’ll be adding a plyometric section to this website in the coming weeks. The section will hopefully help people understand plyometrics better, how they should be used and examples of plyometric exercises which can be used.

So if your training to jump higher, and your not sure wether or not your lacking reactive power, then congratulations your wasting your time! Yes every now & again something will work by fluke, but wouldn’t your rather your gains gauranteed? Don’t worry too much, the majority of people I talk to are also training blindly. To gaurantee your vertical leap and continually jump higher each week, you’ll have to know what aspects make up vertical leap, know what aspects your lacking & know how to customize a vertical leap program to target those aspects. So how are you going to get this knowledge? The library certainly won’t help. Training to jump higher has advanced in massive bounds over the past few years, all thanks to two people, Luke Lowrey and Kelly Bagget. Get yourself a copy of their programs, and no longer train blindly. If you value your time & want results, these two programs are both a must. Check out their vertical leap programs now, click here
